FishBones can be a dark, damp (some would even say "dank") and somewhat chilly experience.Considering no one is not entirely sure how they actually got into the place, it can also at times be a disconcerting experience.You entered an empty room, were instructed to take a nap near a jellyfish and then woke up in a dark corridor surrounded by the sounds of loud music and what may be 1000s of tonzes of water above your head.Don't think too much about how you're going to get home...
It does appear that FishBones is located in some kind of offshore structure. Or at least somewhere deep underwater?Somewhere that appears to be deep underwater anyway.If you happen to catch a glimpse of what's outside, or look through the grates in the floor, all you ever see is a vast, black emptiness.And is that sunlight that's coming through the grate in the ceiling? Strange for a place that looks and feels so...surrounded by water.

FishBones is primarily NPC run so players can keep the party going even when the owner/staff are off line.Please feel free to use any character labelled as NPC as your bartender.
Please do not use any Player Characters as NPC staff.

Owner - Badoula OblongataWhile they own the place (found the place is maybe a better phrasing), they really don't have any experience in running a mysterious dive bar.They're standoffish and likely to just hand you the nearest drink without actually listening to your order.
??? Bartender ??? - Goodoula OblongataShe clearly has some authority here and will serve you is you ask, but beyond that don't expect a lot.

The well dressed Roe at the bar.No One is sure if they're ever actually seen them leave. Badoula is very tight lipped about the whole hiring process but assures everyone that they weren't already here when they found the place.
Rules
FishBones is 18+ but keep any NSFW content to private chat.This is a inclusive Venue. Any hate speech ect will not be tolerated. This extends to any "in Character" homophobic/transphobic/racist/ect actions.Please play NPC Staff respectfully. They should stay professional (as professional as a bartender at a dive bar can be anyway). NPC staff should not flirt with, or insult clients.Please Put away Minions & Weapons upon entry. If it's a slow night and your minion is RP relevant, exceptions will be made. If it's busy and we need the actor space, you might be asked to holster that cat.Shout and Yell Chat are for staff only.Please disable emote logs if you're going to spam emotes. Or say...get stuck at the door and need to spam /doze for 10 minutes.

FishBones has the space for live performance (please ask staff first. Badoula in particular is incline to give any unsolicited Bards "exclusive" "behind the scenes" tours of the shark tanks) or DJ's to perform, but for the most part atmosphere is provided by whatever playlist the staff decide to inflict on patrons.Generally the vibes are along the lines of punk, weird, and sometimes uncomfortable.Sometimes it's just The Mountain Goats intermixed with Beyoncé for 12 hours.

Times are flexible) and want to hang out in a slightly soggy mystery barThis could be the job for you!You would be working as a Bartender + occasional Greeter (although that should be taken care of, you should only need to fill in if I'm afk) + bouncer should it call for it.Payment will be per hour at a rate tbd (aka, you give me a number and I'll probably say yes).You get to keep any tips ect.
